Sound Bath & Cacao Workshop
This is a super special 2hrs ceremony inviting a restful journey of self discovery and healing. Ceremonial Cacao is a heart opening plant medicine. It is chocolate in its purest form, It will be served as a hot drink. When we open the heart, the chatter of the mind tends to soften and we are connected to our highest and best self. Meaning we think more clearly and allow space to notice how we are feeling. We will be opening the ceremony with a sharing circle where intentions will be set and spirit of the cacao will be called into the space, we will lead you into a magical journey to the heart with a gentle yoga stretch before you settle down for your sound healing journey to help bring your vibration back to its highest power.
It is recommended you don't have food or caffeine 2hrs prior to ceremony.
Refreshments & herbal tea will be served afterwards.

Usui Reiki Level 1 Training
A two day training course at Barnt Green Zen Den on Saturday 28th February and Sunday 1st March 2026 (time to be confirmed)
Reiki 1 with Jessica Sweeney FHT Accredited Reiki master from New Earth holistic Reiki & Sound Academy.
Usui Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that focuses on enhancing the body's natural ability to heal itself. Reiki is a combination of two words: "Rei," meaning universal, and "Ki," meaning life force energy. It is based on the belief that there is a universal energy that flows through all living beings and is essential for their well-being.
In Reiki Level 1, students are introduced to the basic principles and techniques of Reiki healing. The primary goal of this level is to attune the student to the Reiki energy and enable them to channel it for self-healing and healing others. Here is an overview of what you can expect to learn and experience in Usui Reiki Level 1:
1. Introduction to Reiki: You will learn about the history, origins, and philosophy of Reiki. This includes understanding the concept of energy, the chakra system, and how Reiki works to balance and heal the body, mind, and spirit.
2. Attunement: The attunement process is a ritual that connects the student to the Reiki energy. It opens up the energy channels and allows the student to become a channel for the healing energy. This attunement is usually performed by a Reiki Master.
3. Hand Positions: You will learn the basic hand positions used in Reiki healing. These positions are used to channel energy to specific areas of the body, promoting relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being.
4. Self-Healing: Reiki Level 1 emphasizes self-healing. You will learn how to use Reiki on yourself to balance your energy, release blockages, and promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Self-care practices and techniques will be taught to maintain your own well-being.
5. Healing Others: You will also learn how to use Reiki to heal others. This includes understanding the ethics of Reiki healing, the importance of consent, and proper techniques for providing healing to others.
6. Practice and Integration: Throughout the course, you will have opportunities to practice Reiki on yourself and others. This hands-on experience allows you to gain confidence in your abilities and deepen your connection to the Reiki energy.
Usui Reiki Level 1 is the foundation for further Reiki training and practice. It provides a solid understanding of the principles and techniques of Reiki healing. After completing this level, you can continue your Reiki journey by advancing to higher levels and becoming a Reiki practitioner or even a Reiki Master with further training and attunements.
