Jess
Yoga Teacher
I'm Jess and I have always enjoyed moving my body in a variety of ways including strength training and running. When I stepped onto a mat for the first time several years ago, I knew yoga was going to be a new love in my life & it gave me an insight into something no other movement had. Since then, yoga has been my ‘me time’ and where I return to time and time again. I love how it’s a practice where you continuously learn more both physically and mentally. Hooked and wanting to share this feeling with others I completed my Vinyasa flow training with Hotpod Yoga in London in 2023.
I am passionate to share the balance yoga brings to your life and mind, my classes will not only help you focus on staying present but also are a reminder to listen to your body and your intention"
JOE
Yoga Teacher
Hi Im Joe, I’ve been practicing Yoga for around 8 years and completed my Yoga Teacher Training in 2018. I take inspiration from the kind of yoga I like to do myself in my own practice: Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga. I aim to integrate Tristana in to my class which is a tool to help cultivate the ultimate presence of mind, focus, and stability during practice. It consists of three parts: Ujjayi breath (victorious breath), Bandhas (energy locks), and Drsti (yogic gaze). Coupled with a dynamic sequence of postures, my classes aims to bring 60 minutes of a meditation of movement, guided by the focus on breath.
LUCY
Yoga Teacher
Hi I’m Lucy, I have been practising yoga for over 10 years as a complement to running. I have recently increased my practice and qualified as a yoga teacher.
My classes primarily focus on core strength vinyasa but I am also interested in yoga shred which offers a fresh blend of high intensity interval training with yoga flow. I will look at building positivity and power during my classes, which aim to be fun and energetic with the intention of improving muscle tone and fitness.
EMILY
Yoga Teacher
My name is Emily, I’m a holistic health practitioner & creative. I am deeply passionate about health because I have a dis-ease in my body called rheumatoid arthritis, which I have successfully managed for over 3 years with my holistic practices and tools.
Yoga has been a huge part of my healing journey, especially when I took my yoga teacher training. It has not only helped my body regain strength and mobility, but it helps me manage the emotions that come with living with pain & discomfort, as well as combating the voice inside my head that tells me I cannot do something; because most of the time, I can. Yoga is so much more than just a movement practice to me, it’s a way of life. So I am very excited and grateful to be teaching at the Zen Den.
